Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an extremely popular American performer and actress. Bell is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native, born and raised by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Kristen was born in Huntington Woods, Michigan and was raised by a Polish mother and a father who is German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen found her talent in the world of entertainment when she was just a teenager. In 1992, she attended her first audition. She was given the role of Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell was signed by her mother to become an agent when she was just 13 years old. Bell was later cast for newspaper ads and commercials on TV. At this time she began taking private acting lessons. Bell played a brief, uncredited role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, which was where she participated in drama and music club. Bell was chosen to play the lead role as Dorothy at her school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre upon graduating. Bell quit the school in 2001, when she landed the role of Becky for Tom Sawyer. The was the same year that she also had her first credit debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and she was only seen in the credits sequence. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell appeared as a character in The Crucible, a Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
