Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, actress, American stage and screen actor and producer. She is best known as a film actress for her role in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She received an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer. She is active in films theater as well as television. Her career began acting in the theatre but then proceeded to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. The actress was famous for her role in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as in BET's massive The Book of Negroes. The series both received reviews, and she also won a lot of awards. Her career began as an actor in the year 1995 as Ariel in The Tempest. Her credits on stage include the Broadway performance of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Her film work is highlighted by her appearances in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. Her role on television on ABC's drama series about police High Incident has earned her praises.
